اقتباس از آثار نجومی تمدن‌های گذشته، زمینه‌ساز پیشرفت علم نجوم تا برآمدن آل بویه

از جمله علومی که مسلمانان در آن علم از سایر تمدن‌ها بهره بردند و در مرحله بعد به پیشرفت‌ها و دستاوردهای قابل توجهی دست یافتند، علم نجوم است. آگاهی از بهره‌گیری مسلمانان از داشته‌های تمدنی پیشینیان به‌ویژه در علم نجوم، از آن جهت که نوع تعامل مسلمانان را با سایر تمدن‌ها آشکار می‌سازد و می‌تواند از این تجربه در مسیر دست‌یابی به تمدن نوین اسلامی استفاده کند، از اهمیت برخوردار است. سوالی که این نوشتار به آن پاسخ داده این است که مسلمانان چگونه از داشته‌های نجومی سایر تمدن‌ها استفاده کردند و این امر چه تاثیری بر روند اعتلای این علم تا دوره آل بویه گذاشته است؟ بهره‌گیری از منابع متقدم و استفاده از روش توصیفی-تحلیلی نشان می‌دهد در اثر تشویق‌های حاکمان مسلمان و برخی از خاندان‌های با نفوذ همانند برمکیان و بنوموسی، بسیاری از آثار نجومی سایر تمدن‌ها از جمله آثار تمدنی یونان، ایران و هند به عربی ترجمه شدند و این آثار به نوبه خود، ضمن اینکه سبب ظهور منجمانی شد که از داشته‌های نجومی تمدن‌های سابق بهره می‌بردند، سبب شد همین دسته از منجمان، آثار دقیق‌تری را در این علم تولید کنند. علاوه بر این، منجمان این دوره ضمن شناسایی و اصلاح مشکلات مدل‌های بطلمیوسی، به دستاوردهای جدیدی دست یافتند. برخی از این دست‌آوردها عبارتند از: تعیین دقیق‌تر میزان سال خورشیدی، اندازه‌گیری طول یک درجه نصف‌النهار، نظریات جدیدی درباره حرکت افلاک و رویت هلال، تعیین جهت قبله و ساخت اسطرلاب.

astronomy is one of the sciences in which muslims benefited from other civilizations and achieved significant progress and achievements in the next stage.  it is important to know about the use of muslims from the civilization of their predecessors, especially in astronomy, because it reveals the type of interaction of muslims with other civilizations and can use this experience in the path of achieving the new islamic civilization. the question answered by this article is how muslims used the astronomical properties of other civilizations and what effect did this have on the advancement of this science until the al-buyeh period? utilizing advanced sources and using the descriptive-analytical method shows that as a result of the encouragement of muslim rulers and some influential families such as barmakian and benumousi, many astronomical works of other civilizations, including the civilizational works of greece, iran and india, were translated into arabic and this the works, in turn, caused the emergence of astronomers who took advantage of the astronomical assets of previous civilizations, and caused the same group of astronomers to produce more accurate works in this produce science in addition, the astronomers of this period achieved new achievements while identifying and correcting the problems of ptolemaic models. some of these achievements include: more accurate determination of the solar year, measuring the length of one degree of meridian, new theories about the movement of the stars and sighting of the crescent, determining the direction of qibla and making an astrolabe.
