چکیده    The production of synthetic natural gas (sng) from co2 and h2 via catalysts is one method to supply renewable energy. in this study, cobalt-nickel mesoporous catalysts supported on silica-alumina are facilely synthesized by sol-gel and evaporation-induced self-assembly (eisa) strategy and their catalytic performance in the co2 methanation process are investigated. x-ray diffraction (xrd) analysis, fourier-transform infrared (ft-ir) spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (sem) were used to characterize the proposed catalysts. the obtained results showed that the yield of the two catalysts was almost the same and the crystallinity, functional groups and catalyst morphology had not been very effective. the maximum value of conversion was related to the 15co-5ni/ sa-sg catalyst with 65% at 500 °c.
