چکیده    Phytochemical investigation on chemical constituents of boswellia papyrifera stem barks let to the isolation of new sterol (29-methyl, nonanoate-cholest-7, 22-dien-3β-ol 2) along with three known related compounds, stigmasterol 1, β-sitosterol-3- o-β-d-glucoside 3 and spinasterol 3-o-β-dglucopyranoside 4. their structures were defined by various spectroscopic studies including 1d, 2d-nmr, ms analysis and by comparison with those reported in the literature.
