چکیده    In the course of his philosophical study, immanuel kant has passed ups and downs on the issue of god. in his critique of pure reason, for example, kant has denied the possibility of knowing god, but in his moral theory he came to justify theism and belief in god. in this essay, we do not deal with kant’s moral argument for the existence of god, since the focus is on discursive reason. in what follows, the author has tried to shed light on some aspects of the issue many philosophers missed to spot such as: that kant’s peculiar definition of objective knowledge (the priori synthetic judgments) is far removed from the celebrated one (true justified belief), that it differs from his so-called definitions of belief and opinion, the value of the argument from design for the existence of god, the concept of existence, and that kant has not set boundaries between logic and psychology, and if he did, they are not precise. the method adopted in this research is descriptive-analytic. in the course of his study, the author has come to the conclusion that as per kant’s criterion for the transcendental argument we can prove the existence of god as strongly as he demonstrated the foundations of his transcendental philosophy e.g. a transcendental i that accompanies all perceptions. there, in kant’s philosophy, are some gaps through which we can propose proofs for god’s existence. the essay ends with some criticisms. some ideas of this essay are preceded in andishe-e-novin-e-dini journal n. 16; though, this essay is presented in new contents and a new structure
