چکیده    There is a noticeable uncertainty in using different finite fault source models for calculation of closest distance to the rupture plane (rrup). accordingly using different finite fault source models have significant effects on seismic hazard analysis. this study investigates the performance of eight finite fault source models in seismic hazard analysis for 2011 m9.0 tohoku. first and foremost for each of proposed models event specific gmpe with optimized coefficient based on genetic algorithm developed. then implementing the likelihood (lh) and log-likelihood methods, as modern lh-based ranking assessment techniques, available finite fault source models for 2011 m9.0 tohoku have been ranked. the results suggest that developed gmpes for smga-based models show more consistency with recorded data than non-smga-based models in shorter distance as well as short periods. in greater distance from fault plane non-smga-based lead to less uncertainty. it is noteworthy that there is no meaningful difference between models in same group.
