the economic ordering policy for manufacturer inventory model considering defective items with inspection errors, amelioration and deterioration rate

An economic ordering quantity for an inventory system has been discussed in this article under imperfect and defective manufacturing procedure and inspection errors. two stages of inspection has been considered in this topic for the manufacturer in which the first stage is not flawless and leads to the inspection errors of type 1 and type 2. the second stage with no inspection errors occurs when the production period is finished. furthermore, the demand rate is selling price dependent and tracks a linear function. also, the manufacturer at the beginning of each cycle receives an order quantity and in the following, it produces the final product out of the ordered batch in which the received items has both amelioration and deterioration rate at the same time. this article aims to find the optimal inspection times and also the optimal number of cycles in order to minimize the total cost. at last, a numerical example and sensitivity analyses has been considered which proves the usefulness of this model.
