extraction of factors affecting the acceptance of iot technologies in rail transport using thematic analysis method

As iot has had a significant impact on the development of various industries, including the transportation industry, its use has received much attention in recent years. one of the basic steps in applying iot technologies is its acceptance by relevant stakeholders; so that attention to the factors influencing this acceptance can provide more opportunities for their application. in this paper, we have studied previous sources in the field of acceptance of iot in transportation by using thematic analysis method in order to extract factors that influence the acceptance of these technologies. the validity and reliability of the research were evaluated using experts' opinion and holstein indexes. the results show that benefits of technology to stakeholders, ease of use of technology, reliability, people's attitude toward technology, personal characteristics, technology safety and security, socio-cultural factors and policies, cost and budget assessment, people's knowledge and awareness and technology risks have a significant impact on this acceptance.
