an approximation approach for fixed-charge transportation-facility location problem

This article describes the fixed-charge transportation-p-facility location problem which makes a bridge between two well problems, the facility location problem and fixed-charge transportation problem. fixed-charge transportation-pfacility location problem, a speculation of the traditional fixed-charge transportation problem looks for the optimal pnumber of facilities with the goal that the aggregate logistics cost from the existing facilities to the potential facilities along with the fixed-charge cost will be reduced. the approximation approach is incorporated for solving the proposed model for extracting results. an experimental design is consolidated to demonstrate the proficiency and viability of the proposed consideration in connection with reality. the novel contributions of this study has introduced a way to connect the facility location problem and fixed-charge transportation problem using a new approximation approach with minimizing the transportation cost. the paper ends with conclusions and perspectives on future studies.
