چکیده    Nowadays, communication networks have a significant role in developing a worldwide dynamic economy. iran has one of the largest telecommunication networks in the middle east and due to the rapid development of the communications industry, the customers expect receiving high secure services. on the other hand, the development of the telecommunication industry has significantly increased the number of projects; hence, outsourcing the activities in this area is highly considered. therefore, given the sensitivity, supplier selection in this industry is in high importance. the purpose of this study is to provide a practical model for supplier selection in a communication company, in which the criteria are determined by experts and conducting studies. in the proposed approach, due to the lack of sufficient information and some linguistic information, decision making is done in fuzzy environment. in order to determine the weight of the specified criteria, first, paired comparisons between the criteria are performed and the weight of each criterion is calculated using the buckley method and finally fuzzy topsis method is used to rank suppliers. finally, to validate the model presented, real data of the infrastructure telecommunication company is tested.
