Authors rajabzadeh aram
Abstract    the prohibition of forced labor is one of the important principles of human rights that has been considered in global and regional documents as well as the laws of countries. this human rights rule has also been addressed in the laws of iran. there are many examples of forced labor, but the cases that international organizations today emphasize on combating and eradicating it include: forced child labor, extreme forced labor of prisoners, and human trafficking. due to their weak physical and mental strength and lack of independence, children have their own special needs that require special care and support from the family and society to meet. in this way, the nineteenth century was the beginning of a movement towards developing regulations to protect children's rights. however, the united states of america has no commitment to these laws and regulations, and children's rights are always violated. forced labor is defined in convention 29 of the international labor organization (ilo). the term forced or compulsory labor refers to work or service that is imposed on the person concerned under the threat of punishment and without the person's willingness and consent to perform it. forced labor in the united states is criminal, inhuman, pervasive, and covert in nature, and children's rights are severely violated. this article attempts to examine the legal status of forced child labor in the two legal systems of iran and the united states using a descriptive-analytical method.
