تنظیم خانواده در اسلام با نگاهی به قواعد فقهی و اصول عملی

افزایش نفوس و زیادی مسلمانان یک امر مطلوب و پسندیده‌ای است وزیادی آن موجب برکت وفراوانی شمرده می‌شود وکشورهای پرجمعیت کشورهای خوشبختی به حساب می‌آیند اما همین رجحان زیادی اولاًد و افزایش نفوس، در سطح امت اسلامی‌مورد عنایت است. ولی در سطح خانواده‌ها متفاوت است ممکن است برای بسیاری از خانواده‌ها که شرایط مساعدی برای رشد و بالندگی خود و فرزندانشان دارند رجحان داشته باشد. چرا که دریافته‌اند که مبانی فلسفی و اوامراخلاقی و احکام فقهی شریعت اسلام با ازدیاد نسل بصورت کلی و در شرایط عادی نظر موافق دارد. و با امر به تلاش و کوشش و کسب وکار حلال خانواده مسلمان را به داشتن و پرورش اولاًد بیشتر تواناتر می‌سازد. اما نسبت به بسیاری از خانواده‌ها که امکانات لازم را دارا نیستند و توانایی‌این را ندارند که در حد مطلوب از عهده پرورش فرزندان خود برآیند و معتقدند که تنظیم خانواده نقش بسزایی در بهبود کیفیت زندگی زنان و پرداختن به آموزش و شرکت در فعالیتهای اجتماعی و استراحت و تفریح و توجه به امور معنوی و مراقبت و رسیدگی بیشتر به فرزندان دارد.‌این رجحان مورد تردید و شک واقع می‌شود.
