مسئله فلسطین و حق حاکمیت مسلمانان بر آن، پس از فروپاشی امپراتوری عثمانی همواره یک از مهمترین مسائل پیشروی جهان اسلام بود و به نسبت در گذر زمان اهمیت این موضوع دچار فراز و فرودهایی بوده است با شکست امپراتوری عثمانی در جنگ جهانی اول و تسلط انگلستان بر فلسطین، یهودیان طی یک معامله کثیف با بریتانیا حقوق امت اسلامی و اکثریت قاطع مسلمان فلسطین را نادیده گرفتند و مقدمات و ابزار روی کار آمدن یک دولت یهودی را در فلسطین تدارک دیدند در این میان جنبش خلافت مسلمانان شبه قاره هند که همزمان با جنگ جهانی اول و به‌ جانبداری‌ از اتحاد جهان اسلام و حمایت از خلافت‌ عثمانی‌ به عنوان نماد سیاسی مسلمانان بر ضد استعمار بریتانیا شکل گرفت نخستین واکنش‌ها را به شکل‌گیری دولت یهودی در میان اراضی اسلامی از خود نشان داد و خواستار اعاده حق حاکمیت مسلمانان بر قبله دومشان گردید. علاقه مسلمانان هند به سرنوشت جهان اسلام آنها را با دیگر سرزمین‌های اسلامی پیوند می‌داد با اشغال سرزمین فلسطین گسترده‌ترین موج ضد صهیونیستی طی جنبش اسلامی خلافت، از مرزهای هند فرا‌تر رفت جنبش خلافت از آنجایی‌ که با تکیه ‌بر اندیشه اتحاد اسلام شکل‌گرفته بود پس از فروپاشی عثمانی تسلط آل سعود بر اماکن مقدسه حجاز، تنها عامل انسجام جهان اسلام را، در موضوع فلسطین می‌دید در حمایت گسترده از فلسطین گام برداشت، با شکست جنبش خلافت آرمان ملت مظلوم فلسطین دچار فراز و فرودهای زیادی شد تا اینکه انقلاب اسلامی ایران به رهبری امام خمینی(ره) به پیروزی رسید  انقلابی که در دوره مبارزاتی خود نیز اعاده حقوق مردم فلسطین را در راس اولویت های خود قرار داده بود، پس از پیروزی با حمایت جدی از ملت فلسطین و گروه های مقاومت  در احیای حقوق ملت فلسطین نقش آفرینی نمود و بر خلاف سایر دولتهای اسلامی مسئله فلسطین هدف و استراتژی دائمی جمهوری اسلامی ایران قرار گرفت، در مقاله حاضر به مسئله فلسطین از شکل گیری جنبش خلافت تا انقلاب اسلامی و چگونگی برخورد با مسئله فلسطین پرداخته شده است. روش مقاله توصیفی تحلیلی بوده و از روش گرداوری کتابخانه‌ای، اسناد و منابع الکترونیکی استفاده‌شده است.

(ra) achieved victory in the revolution, which during its struggle period had placed the restoration of the rights of the palestinian people at the top of its priorities. unlike other islamic states, the issue of palestine became the permanent goal and strategy of the islamic republic of iran. in this article, the issue of palestine from the formation of the caliphate movement to the islamic revolution and how to deal with the issue of palestine is discussed. the method of the article is descriptive and analytical, and the method of library collection, documents and electronic resources was used.
