improved pts scheme for papr reduction in stbc mimo-ofdm systems

Similar to the problems observed in the ofdm system, signals transmitted in mimo-ofdm systems may suffer from unwanted distortion due to the papr of the system when the signals are transmitted via a non-linear device such as a high power amplifier (hpa). in recent years, different methods have been employed to reduce papr, and partial transmit sequence method is just one of them. in this paper we employed the woa algorithm to optimize phase factors in stbc mimo-ofdm systems. simulation results indicated that the use of woa algorithm has a good impact on the performance of the pts method.
