   Focusing on the Role of Internship Prospect As An Activity Based Learning Among University Efl Learners: A Case Study

چکیده    Activity based learning is a flourishing educational model in diverse disciplines and has been perceived very resultant in english language institutes and other similar educational settings too. the ongoing report aimed at exploring the influences of internship in the university efl learners of ilam as an activity based learning to advance their skills and capabilities. qualitative research as research design was utilized for this report following interpretivist paradigm. to collect data and meet the required objective, 30 learners from ilam university were interviewed. only those candidates were selected who had recently completed their internship in well-known educational organs. data analyses were performed through nvivo software version 11, suggested for qualitative data analyses. the outcomes revealed that internship is a workable activity for the learning, evolution and growth of university efl learners. practical experience, teamwork, understanding strengths and weaknesses, and exposure to real world problems were found chief outcomes of internship in terms of educational development. likewise, internal motivation, confidence, punctuality, regularity and understanding responsibility in terms of personality development were found as key outcomes of internship. it is recommended as an insight into advanced learning approaches. hence, universities should conduct proper programs to help learners understanding the significance of internships.
