A Review of Performance of Natural and Bio Sorbent Materials As Well As Nano Particles For the Removal of Metal Ions and Organic Compounds in Aqueous Systems

Considering the vital importance of water resources in the present age, in order to find sustainable economic growth, the existence of effective methods for the purification of contaminated waters is inevitable. waste water including heavy metal ions and organic compounds as the serious environmental problems in human society. among the many technical mechanisms which are used to clean up the pollutants from the environment, adsorption as the widely used method plays an important role in waste water treatment. so, in this paper, the application of natural and bio sorbent materials and also, nanoparticles on the purification of environmental pollutants has been investigated.
