انطباق واجی وام‌واژه‌های فارسی در زبان بنگالی

هدف مطالعه حاضر بررسی و شناسایی فرآیندهای واجی به کارگرفته شده در وام‌واژه‌های فارسی دخیل در زبان بنگالی است. به این منظور در مجموع 160 وام‌واژه‌‌ از منابع اینترنتی، کتابخانه‌ای جمع آوری شدند. برای اطمینان، داده‌ها با گویشور بومی مطابقت داده شدند که این مرحله داده‌های مربوط به زبان‌های اردو و هندی حذف شدند. سپس داده‌‎ها براساس فرآیندهای واجی اعم از حذف، جانشینی، هماهنگی واکه‌ای و غیره تحلیل و طبقه بندی شدند. براساس یافته‌های تحقیق حاضر حذف همخوان‌چاکنایی، هماهنگی واکه‌ای، درج واکه در بین خوشه پایانی، همگونی واکه با همخوان و حذف بخش دوم انسایشی در صورت توالی دو انسایشی در هردو زبان فارسی و بنگالی مشترک است. نتایج تحقیق حاکی از بسامد بالای فرآیند جایگزینی در خصوص انطباق وام‌واژه‌های فارسی در زبان بنگالی است

Phonological adaptation of Persian loanwords in Bengali

The present study investigates and identifies the phonological processes of Persian loanwords in Bengali. For this purpose, the authors collected a total of 160 loanwords from online resources. The native speaker checked the collected data; accordingly, Urdu and Hindi data were omitted. The data were then analyzed and classified based on phonological processes they underwent, including deletion, substitution, and vowel harmony. Based on the recent findings, deletion of glottal stop, vowel harmony, insertion of a vowel in the final cluster, assimilation of a vowel with a consonant, and deletion of the second part of affricates in a sequence of two affricates are common in both Persian and Bengali. The research results indicate the high frequency of the substitution processes regarding the adaptation of Persian loanwords in Bengali.
