چکیده

Sour water is a waste product of various oil and gas refining processes hydrogen sulfide and ammonia, the main contaminants of sour water, must be removed from the sour water before it can be discharged or used elsewhere in the plant to treat this wastewater a number of disposal techniques are available, in this case study, the performance of wet air oxidation method for sulfide removal in sour water treatment unit at iran chemical industries investment co has been investigated and reported the unit is run continuously in order to treat sulfidic causticresults showed sulfide removal efficiencies of 99 ± 1% at the applied operational condition
