چکیده    Competitive adsorption of heavy metal ions is more intricate in comparison with the single component adsorption therefore, a novel statistical method using design of experiments (doe) was applied to analyze this complicated system, in the present work extracted data from open literature was employed to develop two different models based on average (µ) and standard deviation () for analysis of the adsorption of three metal ions simultaneously reasonable r2predict and r2adjusted of models were calculated to be (092, 082) for  and  derived models respectively analysis of variance (anova) was also applied to modify the models which can help to remove the insignificant terms the eight different optimization plans (scenarios-constraints) were carried out, and the coefficient of variation (cv%) for each factor was calculated finally, the results indicated that the agitation speed was the most important operating parameter in multi-component adsorption system
