|
A mesoporous zsm-5 zeolite was hydrothermally synthesized using a coke-deposited spent zeolite catalyst as a raw material characterizations by xrd, ft-ir, n2 adsorption/desorption isotherm and nh3-tpd indicated that zsm-5 have the same properties as the conventional zsm-5 catalyst the results revealed that the utilization of the spent catalyst as raw material in zsm-5 synthesis is feasible and it can be alleviated environmental issues such as the zsm-5 zeolite waste disposal and the loss of valuable sources of aluminum silicate in addition, using the coke-deposited spent catalyst can be improved the creation of mesopores in zsm-5catalystas results indicated the mesopore surface area of zsm-5 increased from 1342 to 1588 m2/g compared to the conventional zsm-5 catalyst it suggests that the catalytic lifetime of zsm-5 zeolites for application in methanol-to–propylene (mtp) reactions would be improved
