چکیده    The performance of the rotating packed bed (rpb) for intensification of carbon dioxide absorption process was evaluated using sio2-nps/dea nanofluid the coupling of the rpb and nanofluids could overcome the mass transfer limitations and improve the absorption process efficiency therefore, an efficient rpb was designed and the effect of operational parameters including the rotational speed (400-1200 rpm), sio2-nps adsorbent dosage (0/2-10 g/l), liquid flow rate (0/2-06l/min) and gas flow rate (20-60 l/min) on the carbon dioxide capture efficiency was investigated using response surface methodology the desirability function was applied for process optimization which results indicated that maximum capture efficiency was obtained to be 96/76% at optimum values set at 800 rpm of rotational speed, 06 g/l of adsorbent dosage, 0/4 l/min of liquid flow rate, and 40 l/min of gas flow rate results revealed that addition of the sio2-nps into amine-based aqueous solution could significantly intensify the carbon dioxide capture efficiency
