چکیده    Cobalt oxide nanoparticles (co3o4) have been prepared by the solution combustion synthesis from cobalt nitrate as the oxidizer and urea as the fuel at the stochiometric fuel-to-oxidant ratio x-ray powder diffraction (xrd) was demonstrated the crystalline nanostructure of the cobalt oxide by the size of the brunauer-emmett-teller (bet) specific surface area was meassured by 54/69 m2/g-1 electrochemical characterization of the synthesized powders, ie, cyclic voltametry, was conducted in 6 m koh as the electrolyte where a gravimetric capacitance of 264/16 fg-1 was obtained furthermore, the synthesized cobalt oxide showed the surface area of 54/69 m2/g-1 together with a capacitive behavior therefore, such co3o4 synthesized by the solution combustion synthesis could be an appropriate candidate as the electrochemical capacitor
