چکیده    In this paper, the optimization of propane ammoxidation in a conventional tubular reactor (ctr) is investigated propane ammoxidation is an exothermic process which is performed on v-sb-al based mixed oxide catalyst by a langmuir-hinshelwood approach the synthesis of propane ammoxidation have six parallel reactions of formation (propylene, acrylonitrile, carbon oxides, acetonitrile, hydrogen cyanide, and 𝐶2 hydrocarbons), three reactions of consecutive of transformation of the intermediate propylene to acrylonitrile (acn), acetonitrile (accn), and hydrogen cyanide (hcn), five decomposition reactions of intermediate products to carbon oxides, and one reaction of decomposition of ammonia the operating condition for temperature is in range of (680-810 k) and for pressure is in range of (05-2 bar) the analysis of the optimization show that the acrylonitrile yield, increases by increasing in temperature of reaction and number of steam tube the variable of optimization are temperature of reaction and steam, total molar flow rate, and number of tubes which obtained 719 k, 714 k, 049745,20 respectively
