چکیده    Mixed metal mofs, including open-metal sites (oms), are the most promising materials for increasing the tendency toward co2 capture utsa-16 is an appropriate mof with great portion of omss, which would display repeatable and reversible co2 sorption in this study, utsa-16 was synthesized and then partially substitution of co+2 centers of utsa-16 with ni+2 was fulfilled with 20% ni with the aim of increasing co2 uptake synthesized utsa-16 and bi-metallic ni-utsa-16 were characterized by xrd, fesem, eds, elemental mapping and bet analyses experimental isotherm adsorption studies have shown the following trend for co2 adsorption capacity: ni-utsa-16 > utsa-16 in addition, ni-utsa-16 bi-metallic mof exhibited lower isosteric heat of adsorption compared to the utsa-16 (δhave=3399 vs 4258 kj/mol) this feature enables us to propose an economic adsorbent (ni-utsa-16) to the industry as a candidate for separation of co2 from natural gas
