چکیده    The sorption of methylene from aqueous solutions using nano chitosan particles (cnp) was investigated under various examination conditions# first, cnp was synthesized and the morphology of cnp was then studied under scanning electron microscope (sem) and fourier transform infrared (ftir)# ftir result confirmed the presence of maleic acid in cnp# the adsorption process was studied at different dye initial concentrations , adsorbate concentration and interaction time# the maximum removal percentage of % 99 was attained for adsorbent dose of 0#5 g l-1, initial dye concentration = 40 mg l−1, ph 13, and shaking rate = 300 rpm, at 40 min#
