چکیده    In this research study, the monolithic activated carbons have been prepared by naoh activation for separation of hydrogen/methane gas mixture# in this study naoh/carbon weight ratios 0:1, 1#5:1, 2#5:1, 3#5:1 were used for preparing monolithic activated carbons for methane adsorption at 30°c# the bet analysis results showed that naoh/carbon ratio 3#5 is an appropriate ratio for preparation of adsorbents# using this ratio, the active surface area can increased from 553#23m2/g in the sample without activator to 728#46 m2/g# also, the experimental results showed that an average percent of of 66% hydrogen separation was observed# the samples were characterized by xrd, bet, sem methods#
