   investigation of morphological and mechanical properties of electrospun nanofibers nanocomposites based on pla/zif-8

چکیده    In this study, electrospun poly (lactic acid) (pla) nanofibrous nanocomposites containing zeolitic imidazolate frameworks-8 nanoparticles (zif-8 nps) with three different concentrations of 1, 3, and 5 wt#% were prepared to investigate their morphological and mechanical properties# in this regard, the fe-sem images showed that the mean diameters of the nanocomposite samples were decreased from 890 to 462 nm by increasing the zif-8 contents from 1 to 5 wt#%# the mechanical properties such as tensile strength and strain at break exhibited the intersitng results# related to the tensile strength values of the samples, they were increased by raising the zif-8 content up to 3 wt#% followed by decreasing with more nano-filler content up to 5 wt#%# in contrast to tensile strenth, the strain at break values of the nanocomposite samples showed the desceding and ascending trends by incraesing the zif-8 concentrations# finally, the approperiate sample was selected for pla nanofibrous nanocomposite containing 3 wt#% of zif-8 in which its tensile strength and strain at break were 4#68 mpa and 67#9%, respectively# the results revealed that this optimized sample can be a good candidate for vascular tissue engineering applications#
