چکیده    A simple, one-step, scalable, and environmentally friendly electrophoretic deposition (epd) approach has been successfully developed based on epd of activated carbon (ac) and ni(no3)2 colloidal suspension for the fabrication of binder-free ac (ac/ ni(oh)2) electrode# stainless steel is used as both working (cathode) and counter (anode) electrodes and the epd process is carried out at an applied voltage of 60v# the results of this binder-free electrode is compared with ac+pvdf electrode# contact angle tests shows that the binder-free ac (ac/ ni(oh)2) electrode has a super-hydrophilic surface# moreover, results of cyclic voltammetry (cv) illustrates that the binder-free ac (ac/ ni(oh)2) electrode has a high specific capacitance of 137#4 f#g-1 which is four times larger than ac+pvdf electrode# therefore, the binder-free ac (ac/ ni(oh)2) film exhibits an brilliant capacitive behavior compared with the ac+pvdf film#
