The photocatalyytic technologies have been extended for degradation of pollutants from waste water# coating the photocatalyst mass on a suitable support without loss of photocatalytic activity is of particle importance# in this review, the some types of coating were studied# the role of surfactant as an absorbent was explained and the formation process of surfactant coating of photocatalysts was shown # then the important method of photocatalyst coating on surface, sol-gel dip-coating and electrochemical coating was explained, and their steps were shown in tow algorithm# finally the combined coating method was recommended to reaching well-defined thickness of photocatalyst on substrate#
