چکیده    A cobalt-based material organic framework (mof) of zeolitic imidazole framework (zif), was synthesized and used in adsorptive desulfurization of dibenzothiophene# the successful synthesis of this microporous mof was confirmed by x-ray diffraction (xrd), scanning electron microscopy (sem) and n2 adsorption–desorption methods# a uniform hexagonal shape of the particles with an average size of 300 nm was illustrated by sem images# moreover, a high surface area of 1499 m2/g was revealed by bet results providing a good potential for adsorption of dibenzothiophene substance during the process# the efficiency of this adsorbent was evaluated for the removal of dibenzothiophene from a model fuel containing 500 ppmw sulfur concentration# according to gc-fid results, the synthsized mof provided a considerable adsorption capacity of 53 mgs/g for dibenzothiophene# the high efficiency possibly come from a very high surface area and uniform particle size of the synthsized mof which was proved by different characterization methods#
