چکیده    High-pressure adsorption of carbon dioxide and nitrogen on zeolite 5a was measured in the pressure range (0 to 4) mpa at 298 k by a volumetric method# the experimental data obtained were correlated by the toth and langmuire models, which are generally used for microporous adsorbents such as zeolites# according to the final results, there is a very good agreement between analytical model with experimental data# the preferential adsorption capacity of co2 on zeolite 5a was much higher than nitrogen, indicating that zeolite 5a can be used for carbon dioxide sequestration from flue gas# the selectivity of co2 to n2 decrease with increasing of pressure, and effective separation of co2 and n2 can be conducted in the pressure up to 1 mpa#
