چکیده
|
Novel poly(urethane-urea) (puu) membrane containing a chain extender substituted by octadecylamine side chain was prepared to enhance gas permeation# polytetramethylene glycol, and isophorone diisocyanate were served for puu synthesis# the substituted puu provided higher phase separation and lower glass transition temperature than linear puu as the reference# increased gas separation (82% and 30% improvements in co2 permeability and co2/n2 selectivity, respectively) was obtained by the substituted puu as a result of increased phase separation and the plasticizing effect of aliphatic side chain# the main findings confirmed that the molecular design of the bulky puu was in favor of co2 separation#
