   Design and Synthesis the Magnetic Nano-Porous Polymeric Composite For the Competitive Adsorption of Btex in the Aqueous Solutions

چکیده    In the present study, magnetic polymeric nano-composite was synthesized as an efficient and low cost adsorbent for the simultaneous removal of btex as the petrochemical contaminants from the aqueous solutions# the various characterization techniques including xrd and vsm were studied on the prepared samples# the results of xrd analysis showed an appropriate dispersion of the magnetite crystallites on polymeric substrate# the vsm analysis also illustrated the proper magnetic strength of the synthesized adsorbent which was to be 23#26 emu/g# the results of competitive adsorption indicated that the prepared nano-composite had a remarkable adsorption capacity and the antonym effect of the simultaneous presence of btex on the synthesized nano-adsorbent was negligible# the kinetic behavior of the samples in the competitive adsorption was investigated by the various models including pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order# the results showed a good agreement between the experimental data and the pseudo second equation# the maximum adsorption capacity of carbonaceous nano-composite was calculated to be 4#8309, 8, 9 and 9#1743 mg/g by employing langmuir isotherm for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene, respectively#
