In this study, polyvinylchloride (pvc) flat-sheet membranes were fabricated by phase inversion method to be used in water treatment application# the different concentrations of pvc as membrane polymer were studied# pore size distributions and area of pores on the surface of the membranes were estimated by image j software using fesem images# furthermore, membranes were characterized by hydrophilicity (contact angle) analysis# as an operational application, membranes performances were studied during filtration of humic acids as a model organic foulants because membrane fouling occurring during filtration processes due to the accumulation of substances on the membrane surface or into membrane pores#
