Zeolitic imidazole frameworks (zifs) as the special class (subcategory) of metal organic frameworks (mofs) are constructed by imidazolate linkers and metal ions# these materials have recently attracted intense owing to their permanent porous structure, high thermal stability, tunable pore aperture and large surface area# consequently, zif-67 has the potential to be applied to gas adsorption, drug delivery, catalysis, etc# in this article zif-67 was synthesized by solvothermal method, especially for co2 adsorption# the main objectives of this study were zif-67 synthesis in optimum condition including synthesis temprature and molar amount of ligand, and investigated the structure of zif-67 using bet analyzer# optimum synthesis temperature of zif-67 was evaluated within room tempreture# furthuremore, the molar amount of the ligand was# in addition, the co2 adsorption results showed that the capacity of the optimized zif-67 was 51#93 mg/g at 25℃ and atmospheric pressure#
