|
Efficient adsorption of antibiotic from aqueous solution is a serious task for public health and environmental protection# in this work, a high surface area metal-organic framework was employed for antibiotic adsorption# to this end, at first metal-organic framework was synthesized and then, characterized using the brunauer-emmet-teller (bet) and x-ray diffraction (xrd) analyzes# after that, adsorption experiments were performed to examine the capability of the synthesized adsorbent for adsorption of antibiotic# the surface area of the absorbent was obtained to be 1300 m2g-1 using the bet analysis# in addition, metal-organic framework had an excellent adsorption capacity of 305#8 mg g-1# also, the adsorption experiments indicated that the adsorption rate was high at the lowest tested concentration (40 mg l-1) so that the adsorption kinetic reached equilibrium after 60 min# kinetics data were best fitted with pseudo second-order model# moreover, isothermal data were best fitted with langmuir model#
