چکیده    To determine the impact of different operating conditions on the product yield distribution of delayed coking process, several experiments were set and conducted in a prefabricated pilot plant# the experiments were conducted with different iranian vacuum residues and with the temperatures between 420-480ºc at atmospheric pressure# the reaction time was in the range of 5-120 min# a four lumps kinetic model was developed based on the experimental results# the lumps including volatile products, coke, feed and intermediate phase between coke and feed were defined to precisely monitor the yield distribution of products among the reaction time# the utilized feedstock for the process were three different vacuum residues and their blending# the mixtures were produced by using different mixing ratios of the three vacuum residues# the statistical results showed the satisfying accuracy of the developed model# the experimental and modeling results in this research approve that by increasing the temperature the yield of coke and gas is decreased# however, the yield of distillate is increased, too# the investigation illustrated that the activation of the production of intermediate has the highest amount of energy in comparison with the other reactions# also, the results approve that the production reaction rate of coke has the highest amount in comparison with other reactions#
