چکیده    Electrolysers, e#g# water electrolysis for hydrogen production, metallurgical process etc#, play a key role in the chemical and electrochemical processes while growing their utilization# one of the electrochemical processes is chlor-alkali which produces quite valued products such as caustic soda and chlorine derivative chemicals# electrolysers consume electrical energy to produce chemicals and several studies have been performed to improve the corrsponding efficiency# modeling and simulation is one of the low cost tools to optimize the designing of the electrolytic cell, thus enehancing their performance# current distribution is one the critical parameters in designing the cell# in this study the parameters affecting the current distribution, i#e#, flow inlet velocity, distance between membrane and electrode and bubble size were investigated# the prediction of the current density distribution can be implemented by changing the inlet velocity, the gap between the electrode and membrane and bubble size#
