   Synthesis of Boron-Doped Tio2 Nanotube in Nh4bf4 Based Electrolyte and Investigating Dopant Effect: Insight Into the Geometrical Structure and Photoelectrochemical Activity

چکیده    Boron atoms were introduced to titania nanotubes (tnts) lattice through 2–step anodizing in a new nh4bf4 containing electrolyte to gain a high generation of photocharge carrier as well as high photoelectrocatalytic efficiency in boron doped tio2 nanotubes (btnts)# morphology, crystalline phase, elemental composition, optical properties and photoelectrochemical features of synthesized tnts were characterized by sem, xrd, edx, drs and voltammetry analysis, respectively# the obtained results revealed that boron doping content led to the formation of smaler nanotubes with narrower band gap# based on pec measurments boron doping has a significant impact on the photoelectrochemical performance of synthesized samples, so that boron doping led to the amplification of photocurrent density from 0#19 to 0#67 ma/cm2# consequently, the tnts and btnts samples degrade 79% and 100% of methylene blue under 3h uv radiation, respectively#
