Effect of Steam Addition To Dry Reforming of Glycerol Over the Nanocrystalline 10ni/ Al2o3-La2o3 Catalyst

In this research, the effect of steam addition on the performance of the 10ni/al2o3-la2o3 nanocrystalline catalyst in co2 reforming of glycerol was investigatred# la2o3-al2o3 catalyst support was prepared by simple solid state method and nickel was added by impregnation rout# bet surface area of the 10ni/ la2o3-al2o3 catalyst was 30 m2 gcat-1 and the catalyst possessed the mean pore diameter and particle size of 16#6 and 33#3 nm respectively# it was found that addition of steam caused an increase in glycerol conversion but decreased carbon monoxide yield# in addition, the h2/co ratio of the produced syngas was increased by adding steam to the dry reforming reactant mixture#
