In the past 40 years, the efforts of regenerative medicine researchers were focused on the development of non-biodegradable materials resembling bone features# bioactive glasses which enhance osteogenesis and angiogenesis has gained more attention in biomedical engineering# sol-gel derived bioactive glasses compared to melt-derived glasses have more fine porous textures and also are remarkably more bioactive with the same composition# in the present study, 58s/manganese (iii) oxide bioglass powders were synthesized by the sol-gel method# then the bioactivity of the synthesized composite glasses was evaluated by soaking powders in simulated body fluid (sbf) for 14 days# the results showed that the composite of 58s/manganese (iii) oxide was bioactive#
