چکیده    In this study, a new electrochemical sensor is represented for polymeric solution concentration measurement by using a zinc oxide (zno) nanorods modified electrode# the simple hydrothermal method was used for zno nanorods growth on the electrode surface# the solution of poly vinyl alcohol (pva) in water was selected as a working polymeric solution and the potentiometric method was used as an electrochemical transducer# the response of the electrode was studied for different concentrations of polymeric solution in the range of 100 pg/ml – 100 μg/ml of pva# also, the effect of ph on the electrode response was investigated# the sensor showed a linear behavior between potential and logarithm of pva concentration in the range of 100 pg/ml – 1 μg/ml# consequently, the proposed concentration sensor may be used for different polymeric solution owing to the simple fabrication and low cost as well as fast and easy usage#
