This paper investigates the different methods for flare gas reduction in south azadegan oil field (jofeyr)# at first, several methods for flare reduction all the world were investigated# as a result, three of the best methods of flare reduction regarding to the composition and flowrate of the associated gas of south azadegan were selected# the flare gas is used as feed in an lpg plant, transferred by pipeline to a petrochemical plant, or reinjected to the oil reservoirs at south azadegan# the results showed that the recovery of the azadegan associated gas by an lpg plant is more appropriate method#
