چکیده    A thin conductive polymer composite (cpc) film was prepared by the spin coating method on the interdigitated gold electrode (idge)# the prepared cpc consists of polylactic acid (pla) as an insulating polymer matrix and multiwalled carbon nanotube (mwcnts) as a conductive filler# the prepared conductive thin film was used as the sensitive layer to detect a series of volatile organic compounds (vocs) such as methanol, ethanol, toluene, and water as lung cancer biomarkers# pla/cnt sensitive layer showed the fast and repeatable responses toward the mentioned analytes# also, the experimental results exhibited the following trend of sensitivity: rethanol > rmethanol > rtoluene > rwater# this trend was analyzed based on the flory-huggins interaction parameter# the results indicated that the thin cpc sensitive layer has a great potential to use as a gas detector to detect lung cancer biomarkers#
