|
Hyaluronic acid (ha) has known as an important element in drug, biomedicine and cosmetics industries with a high commercial value due to its viscoelasticity, moisture absorption and high biocompatibility# the application and commercial value of this product is in relation with its purity# in this study, we used an appropriate solvent in order to remove existing impurities# the produced ha by a recombinant corynebacterium glutamicume was precipitated with two solvents, ethanol and isopropanol with ratios of 1:1, 2:1 and 3:1 at 4 and -20 °c# the ha concentration, protein and nucleic acid were measured after the end of precipitation process# the results indicated that isopropanol in ratio of 1:1 at -20 °c had the highest amount of ha recovery, as 2#1 mg/ml# the mentioned solvent was more successful in removing impurities than others so that the amount of protein and nucleic acid were reduced to 0#052 μg/ml and 0#059 ng/ml, respectively#
