چکیده    In this paper, the effect of rotor structure on the micromixing efficiency in a typical rotating packed bed (rpb) reactor in the presence and absence of ultrasonic waves is investigated# for this purpose, the rpb reactor with grille stainless steel blades was used to investigate the effect of packing structure on the micromixing efficiency# two different blade packings structures were investigated: conventional blades and blades with an angle of 30° relative to the radial axis# the reactor was equipped with four high-frequency ultrasonic transducers with a frequency of 1#7 mhz# for investigating the micromixing efficiency the iodide/iodate reaction was used# the effect of the rotational speed of the bed on the micromixing efficiency in the absence and presence of ultrasonic waves was investigated# the effect of rotational speed on the reduction of segregation index and an increase of micromixing efficiency was observed# the results showed that the presence of high-frequency ultrasonic waves increased the micromixing efficiency in the rpb# however, the blade packings with an angle of 30° relative to the radial axis resulted in a better mixing than the packings with an angle of 0°#
