چکیده    The fundamental relationship between the properties and behavior of bitumen with the behavior of asphalt mixtures has made bitumen to be considered as one of the main factors affecting the optimal performance of asphalt mixtures# on the other hand, the thermal sensitivity of bitumen is one of the characteristics of bitumen, which is defined as the changes in the bitumen's mental or rigidity due to different temperatures, which can have a great impact on the durability and final performance of the asphalt mix# bitumens with lower thermal sensitivity provide better performance in asphalt mixtures# therefore, in this paper, the effect of adding sasobit with different weight percentages on the thermal sensitivity of bitumen is investigated by penetration index (pi) method# the results of the experiments show that the addition of sesobite reduces the degree of penetration, increases the softening point and reduces the thermal sensitivity of the modified bitumen compared to the base bitumen, which indicates a better performance of the modified bitumen against temperature changes# the environment is a result of increased durability and reduced asphalt pavement damage# also, since bitumen viscosity is an important factor in its proper performance during mixing and as a result of proper coating of aggregates in asphalt mixtures, therefore, the rotational viscosity test was performed to investigate the bitumen specimens containing sasobit at 135 ° c# the results indicate an increase in the amount of chondrogenesis in the samples containing sasobit#
