چکیده
|
The size of rising bubbles strongly influences entrainment between immiscible fluids, especially in metal purification and floatation separation processes# due to the visualization restrictions at high temperatures, a bubble passing hexane-water interface is studied at 25 c# interfacial phenomena of a bubble colliding the liquid-liquid interface has been investigated using image processing techniques# the bubble size affects terminal velocity and shape of rising bubble in any liquid# according to the visualization results, bubble size can control bubble bouncing at liquid-liquid interface, entrainment of heavy liquid to the light one, and rupture of heavy liquid film# in order to provide liquid-liqiud surface area in bubbling system, the size of rising bubbles should be adjusted to have spherical cap shape bubbles#
