چکیده    The most common method to remove sour gas from natural gas is used chemical solvents such as n-methyldiethanolamine# the rate of co2 solubility in this chemical solvent is lower than other alkanolamines like dea and mea# therefore, many studies have been developed in order to increase the solubility of carbon dioxide in aqueous n-methyldiethanolamine# in this study, the rate of co2 solubility in aqueous n-methyldiethanolamine solution was investigated in the presence of zinc oxide nanoparticles with different composition at 40oc by using the liquid-gas equilibrium setup# rate of pressure decreasing and apparent absorption rate were measured for co2 in the water-alkanolamine-nanoparticle system with compositions of (20 wt#%, 1500 ppm), (40 wt#%, 500 ppm) and (40 wt#%, 1500 ppm) for n-methyldiethanolamine and zinc oxide nanoparticles, respectively# the study of pressure rate and apparent absorption rate showed that by loading zinc oxide nanoparticles to aqueous alkanolamine solutions the rate of co2 solubility increased in aqueous n-methyldiethanolamine#
