co2 capture via adsorption: a preliminary modelling study

For reducing the greenhouse gases emission such as carbon dioxide (co2), adsorption process is one of the promising methods# in order to the important role of the adsorbents in adsorption separation processes, different novel adsorbents have been studied in presence of co2# in this study, co2 adsorption isotherms through the aforementioned adsorbents have been investigated and compared# different isotherm models have been used to model the experimental isotherm data gathered from the literature# then, the appropriate isotherm model for each adsorbent was selected by comparing the r-squared error# finally, the adsorbents were sorted in terms of descending order of co2 uptake#
