Ethylene oxide (eo) catalytic production is one of the key process in petrochemical industry# operation condition investigation can lead to obtain optimal condition for improving reactor products# effect of reactor temperature and pressure, chlorine moderator and carbon dioxide as feed impurities on ethylene oxide selectivity and ethylene conversion are investigated in this research# sem shows agglomeration of silver particles after reactor test on the catalyst surfaces# presence of carbon dioxide in the reactor feed leads to create a resistance against ethylene oxide production by increasing temperature from 210 to 220 0c# decreasing pressure from 18 to 2 bar does not have significant effect on ethylene conversion while, increasing selectivity from 88 to 95% is achieved# optimum value of chlorine moderator is about 1#5 ppm, mole% for this commercial catalyst# besides, optimum temperature for the best performance of catalyst is 215 0c in the studied temperature range#
